First day to work, but still time for play!

Today was the first day of work at the office, but we were still able to get out and walk around Richmond. We went by the Richmond Bridge over the River Thames (Pronounced Tims) and we stopped for lunch at a pub called The White Cross and had sandwiches on baguettes and of course a beer, a Young's Gold... yes, you can do beer on lunch here :)

We walked through the Richmond Green where people picnic on lunch and dogs run around... Our furry friends Sophie and Angus would love it! We walked by Richmond Palace where Queen Elizabeth I was born and lived for a while.

Afternoon tea is just lovely!

After work we went to a pub called The Prince's Head and tried another beer... this time one called a Fuller's Honeydew.

Hopped on the train and then one more cup of tea before bed... Twinings Lady Gray, which is described on the bag as "zesty and bright"... perfect!

What we learned today:
Not jelly, it's jam
Not cream, it's milk
Not hand soap, it's washing up liquid
When entering and exiting the train... be sure to mind the gap!
